DigitalUmbrella's business model is to partner with web designers, digital agencies, and marketing and IT professionals. We interact with End Users only for billing and service-level purposes.
Because of the complexity of many of our products, and the significant technical training required for many deployments, DigitalUmbrella does not market our products directly to End Users, so we require that End Users to work with a web designer, a digital agency, or a marketing or IT professional who is already either a DigitalUmbrella Affiliate, or one who is already a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Channel Partner.
If you are an End User and do not have an Affiliate or a Channel Partner already, we will attempt to locate a suitable Affilate that is local to your area, if possible, and if one is not local, a Channel Partner will reach out to you.
We will not sell any products directly to End Users apart from the Affiliate or Channel Partner relationship.

If you are an IT professional, you can interact with us as an Affiliate, or as a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Channel Partner. We encourage you to begin as an Affiliate with a goal of becoming a Channel Partner.AFFILIATES:Most of the IT professionals we partner with remain at the Affiliate level.
Commissions, finder's fees, kickbacks, or residuals from us are not available to Affilates until they become qualified as Channel Partners, but what separates our company from the others is that we won't allow your end-users to self-provision or make changes to their services without your involvement either. (We won't compete with you, we work with you! Once they are your customer, they stay your customer, and you always remain in the loop on any interactions we have with your end-user.)
We encourage our Affiliates to either provision an end-user's services via their unique referral link shown in their Affiliate settings, or to provide the referral link to their end-user if they want their end-user to handle the transaction themselves. This is what helps us to keep you in the loop!Affiliates retain control over their end-user's account settings, control panels, provisioned products, and administrative control over COLO, STOR, and WEB products, and may enable or suspend end-user services, handle administrative tasks such as resetting passwords or setting permissions, change customer billing options, and make changes to existing products or provision new ones. All while directly charging their end-user customer for any support they provide.
End-users are not permitted to access the administrative control panels unless you, the Affiliate, grant them that permission. They are not allowed to disassociate their account from their Affiliate, except in very restricted cases. End-users may login to enable or suspend/cancel their services with us and to complete their referral process, but all other tasks must be handled by the Affiliate or a Channel Partner, or via a DigitalUmbrella agent.
Our staff engineers along with our existing Bronze, Silver, and Gold Channel Partners are used to deploy the cloud-side of our services, and Affiliates should charge their end-users directly for consulting, client-side setup, and development services they provide. We do track an Affiliate's referrals and conversions while they are on their way to qualifying for Channel Partner status, and this page allows you to follow these statistics.
CHANNEL PARTNERS:You may also apply to become a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Channel Partner once certain minimum referrals resulting in conversions have been met for each level, you have been an Affiliate for a minimum of 18 months, and you have a completed DigitalUmbrella's Channel Partner Certification Program (CP2). Channel Partners are given all of the privileges of Affiliates, and in addition are allowed to become our actual behind-the-scenes cloud-side and data-center engineers, and may receive generous commissions, bonuses and residuals along with compensation from DigitalUmbrella for self-provisioning the cloud-side of our services, in addition to whatever they wish to directly charge the end-user for their consulting, client-side setup, and development services.This Affiliate page will allow Affiliates to measure their referrals and see if and when they qualify to upgrade to Channel Partner status.
